The Pre Primary Teacher Training Course is a 240-hour course designed for both beginners and experienced teachers to provide them with effective methods and techniques for teaching students aged 2 to 12. To become a teacher in Northern Ireland, you need to complete a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Training to be a teacher is challenging, but there are a number of benefits to being a teacher.
Growth across the education sector has resulted in an increased demand for qualified teachers. The University of the West of England is committed to developing the best teachers of the future who can provide a world-class educational experience and make a significant difference to the life chances of all children. The LJMU ITT partnership has come a long way in rethinking how schools can contribute to their initial teacher training programs.
At the institute, I acquired the necessary skills to teach children with disabilities. I finished school and wanted to become a teacher, so I entered the International Teacher Training Institute and took the Special Educational Needs course. The initial teacher training course gave me confidence that I would succeed and develop all the characteristics and qualities necessary to become a professional instructor.
The course focuses on "Child Psychology", which the teacher must know in order to teach children. Learning through play that is informal, free and unbridled always leads to an effective learning outcome and our Primary and Primary Teacher Training course has modules that do just that. Early childhood and primary teachers also require a C/4 (or better) in a science subject.
For example, secondary school teachers must demonstrate their ability to teach the broader primary school curriculum. The Ministry of Education does not offer teacher training courses or appoint teachers, so we cannot help individuals apply to educational institutions or schools.
Students who graduate from our Initial Teacher Education (ITT) programs receive Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) as all of our courses are Def. accredited. The course prepares you for a career as a teacher and leads to a recommendation for qualified teacher status (QTS) with the Department of Education upon successful completion of the course. Once you complete the ITT program, provided it meets the standards, you will receive a QTS and become a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) ready to begin a one-year internship.
